PIXEL FONDUE LAUNCH STREAM
Greg Leuenberger and I did ACS3 Early Access Launch stream via Pixel Fondue last week. The stream is available for watching on YouTube now.
I didn’t know what to expect exactly and I prepared 4 short demos for the stream. In the end we managed to show way more. The stream ended up being quite extensive and detailed coverage of ACS3 functionality at its current stage.
During the demos we showed and discussed doing basic extensions to biped rig (the same workflow works for any other rig), seamless IK/FK workflow, re-fitting the rig after character mesh has changed and finally we also did an overview of ACS3 weighting tools palette. In addition to the above, following questions from audience a number of other features and workflows were quickly shown - for example doing box proxies and modifying their shape.
As a result of this I highly recommend watching the stream if you want to get a good overview of ACS3 toolset withing single (although a bit long) video.
During the demo following assets were shown: Cockroach by Francois Daigle and Sam by Kashif C. Riley.
If you want to learn about assembling ACS3 rig from scratch - refer to previous blog post that includes link to 30 minutes long ACS3 demo presented during one of Foundry’s FriYay streams.
