Auto Character System 3 is free, open sourced (MIT license) software.
Note that you do not need to install ACS3 in MODO 17.1 as a special integrated version is included with MODO 17.1 release.

Requirements
MODO 14.2v2 minimum
MODO 15.1v2 recommended for rig clay interface
Auto Character System 3 source code is available on GitHub. If you are interested in ACS3 development there’s also a separate repository with the ACS3 development kit - a simple set of tools to help with development and builds.
